so far i've been short on time till today, which was a nice breather.
last week i had projects and all of that other stuff to do. i had 2 exams thursday and only studied for 1 of them which was an essay exam for my 450 class. the tuesday before the test we had a paper to hand in and the last class before that we had a MAS "group paper/presentation" to do along with a crap load of reading assignments that are really boring!
But yea, just a shit load of work and I even managed to help out my friends too and i'm really sick.
somepeople got mad at me for not hanging out with them, but i don't have any time to go eat, drink or watch a movie. other people kept bugging me on the stupidest things like IM me saying, "oh hey, i'm in class now, can you call someone and tell me what they said about a class?"
are you kidding me?! you know i don't have time for this! it's not even urgent!
i was studying for a test last week that i had for the next day and my friend called me up at 10pm asking me for help on his 406W class that i took last year. well he had to do a case study about hidden cost on outsourcing and was due at 12am online! so of course i stopped studying for my test to help him.
i looked at what he has done on excel and right away i was like "are you kidding me mike?!"
this guy is really smart, especially in supply chain but Wow. took me an hour and so to fix his work and tell/teach him how to do the calculations and why.
people like to ask me for help, but yet they like to argue with me, it just takes so much time when they do : /
he's lucky, when i had this case last semester, the teacher just gave it to us in class and told us to do in in 30 mins and submit it.
sigh..... I can't wait for break : /

It's crazy!!!
our stock's almost at $100! i know it's just a game, but really!
We're like the 4th highest team so far for the 3rd week in a row out of 90 groups! if i had done it since the first round we could of been number 1 for all 8 rounds!
well we beat out like 522 seniors and that's not even including the other 2 sections!
you might think, "oh well the other people aren't trying or something cause it's just a game."
YOU'RE SO WRONG!!!
so many people stress over this game and complain about it to the dean of the business school cause it's worth 30% of our grade! so far we've been hitting in the 90's while others are in the low 50's and 60's; the average is around 65 - 70 after a huge curve!
i helped out so many of my friends on this game, reorganizing their compnay and spent hours on each one cause it's different for each group and there's so much data. the hardest part is trying to explain it to them if they don't even know what's going on.
that takes a lot of time : /
it's funny cause everytime i see a group doing their work in the comp lab, i think to myself "haha, i'm better than all 6 of them combined"
the top 20% of the class has to present to the companies that are comming in to listen to the top of the class.
well that's us!
my team wants me to be the lead when we present, but i think the french guy wants to be the lead. i don't get it, you argue with me for the past 9 weeks and did shitty and now you want to take my credit for the success of the company?!
haha, it's like real world now, lots of back stabing going on.
before the team meeting today, i made all the decision and when they came i was like, "hey i did it already if you want to take a look."
the french guy wasn't there today and i showed them what i did and they're like Good.
i'm like "wait, don't you want me to tell you what i did?"
they're like "you did it right? that's good enough for me"
lol, with the french guy making the decision takes like almost 2 hours if not longer and without him the meeting was only like 2 mins!
Halloween was cool.
friday i went to a few parties and danced for a bit.

The helmit and the flight suit's real! i saw the helmet at a flee market for $150 and got it for $120. the flight suit i bought online and it was exactly my size, 38S!

I'm living in Delaware because of my job for the summer.
I do quality checks for body shop at GM.
Let me tell you, it's not the best job out there but it does pay pretty well.
They had to train me how to weld so I know what to look for and what not.
OMG the welding gun gets so freaken hot that my hand was burning through my gloves!
Apprently you can get really dark from welding or being around people welding.
The blue light gives off UV rays and can cause blisters in the back of the eyes if you look at it without protection.
Well anyway this is what I made in welding class insteed of actually doing the lessons they told me.
It's my doggie. The whole time the guy kept looking at it while I was making and and was like "What the hell is that"
me "I don't know yet, I'm still figuring it out"
A couple of minutes later he came back and I was like "I'll give it to you for a $1"
him "haha, I wouldn't give you a $1 for that"
When I got done he came back and was like "Oh wow, it looks like my dog, he's a 'something, I forgot what the kind of dog was.'
me "I'll give it to you for $5"
him "I'll just take it out of the trash when you leave"
We're not allowed to take stuff out so I had to throw it away.
They gave us our own welding helmet and I put this on
I found out that I'm the only guy out of the entire plant that has something on it.
It's funny, I work along like guys guy were they're macho and manly and big. Here I am with this helmet hoping not to get beat up or something :)
But they all just got a kick out of it.
Sometimes when I weld on the floor and this is what they see all the time, me smiling.

Let me start from the beginning…
My brother received his doctorate in pharmacy a week before Memorial Day.
That following Monday I drove to Delaware for a drug screening for GM. I didn’t know that they were going to cut my hair. They took a sample of it from the back, but she cut it really close and such a big chunk.
When I got back, I started cleaning the house/yard up. I don’t get it, how come nobody in my family wanted to clean the house up when we were going to have a huge BBQ in less then a week! I mean come on, My dad was bringing CEOs, Presidents of Jonestown Bank, brother’s girlfriend’s family and other high up peoples.
Every night for the past 4 days I was ripping off and putting up ceiling tiles and painting them. We had a link in the roof or something and needed to fix it so it didn’t like gross. OMG did that take it out of me.
I went shopping for stuff for the BBQ and spend around $600 of my own money. I think the total of the BBQ was like $2300 or something around there. I don’t get my parents sometimes. They buy such luxuries food like over the edge when they don’t really need to.
I went to State College to hand in my request form for a change of campus for fall 2006. I got there at 5:30 and sooooo lucky that somebody was still there! After that I went to KFC and picked up a family meal to eat with kev and his mom. It was funny when I was standing there waiting for my food, 5 customers kept coming up to the counter and complaining about their food. But when my order came, she was like “Here you go honey, enjoy” and smiled. Later I found out that she gave me 4 or 5 pieces of chicken! Hehe, I guess she liked me :)
Kev drove back to my house and we got there pretty late. The next day we went shopping and he got this really nice leather jacket at the outlets. On the way home we stopped to get Wendy’s and as we were pulling away from the drive through, I noticed steam was coming out of the car. So I parked for a bit and filled it up with almost a gallon of water! My sister was like “no kunny, you don’t need to fill up the water gallon because you should make it”, before I left to Lancaster. Well, me, I really don’t listen to my sister because she’s usually wrong.
Well anyway, I took some pictures from the BBQ and it’s on my aunt’s cam. You know I really hate taking pictures. I’m always taking pictures and I’m like never in any! What’s the deal! So inconsiderate! And when people do take pictures I’m almost not in any of them.
And nobody even notice!
Well anyway pictures later if I get them.
Most of the time was me and kev running around to get last minute things. Had a bitch of a time trying to fit in my uncle’s grill in the van.
Getting so many calls from people asking where my house was and others for me to get them stuff.
What I was a bit upset about was that I couldn’t find my brother’s blender and kumnit didn’t bring his. I wanted to make my smoothies and margarita mix and I really really didn’t want to use the Magic Bullet because I didn’t want to break it. A couple of times when it was actually stop because it was overheated.
My friends kept crowding me wanting more drinks. My dad came over to me and kept asking for me and giving them out to everybody. The smoothies didn’t last long and the huge amount of pineapple drink went quickly!
After that we all went to South Hills to play Frisbee. That was fun for a bit till Shane kept blocking every catch and he would always cover me! I’m like only 5’ 8” and he’s like 6’ 5” or something!
Later everybody just came back to my house and I talked to my friend Sara for a bit. Yeah that was different.
Sunday I took kev home and wasn’t really planning on staying. On Monday we went to this Memorial Day celebration street thing near his house. And I got home around 8pm and didn’t have enough time to pack up and leave for Delaware to start my job the next day at 6:30am!
Delaware will have to wait for another night when I’m not to tired too do another update. |

I'm cleaning up the house and need a vaccum from my aunt's house and I'm just walking around for like 20 mins debating if I want to go pick it up. The worste part is that she lives less than a minute away!

kk, time for an update i'd say
hmm.... where to begin @_@
My last real post was April 10th so lets start there.
After Birthday Dinner!
After dinner at the Corner room, we all went back to the room and I made my special mixed drinks in a rice pot. I was surprise that the first batch went so quickly and I thought I made too much. I invited Adam to come over because he looked bored and he seemed kind of cool. Margo came also which was cool because I never talked to her at all! We have a lot in common! But anyway, I beat her in arm wrestling! The only person I can’t beat is Kev! I must be really really weak : )
After drinking a bit, we all went down to go play pool at Corner Pocket. I help my team win a game and I chalked the crap out of everybody! Got back to the room and only had like 20 mins of sleep till I needed to wake up for Sakura Matsuri trip!

So we got up at like 4:30 and ran to the bus cause we were late : )
The bus was packed!
The ride there was nice, well only for the first 20 minutes because the excitement was still there and I was sitting next to my baby : D
So we got there and went to the target thing for the parade. We all didn’t want to do because it was raining and very cold. Beth kept telling kev that he always wuss out all the time, but you could tell none of us wanted to do it. I don’t know why I didn’t say anything to defend him more; it seems everybody likes to pick on him for some reason “beth”.
Before the parade had even stated, we had to walk/run to drop off our stuff about 1/3 of the way of the parade route and basically run all the way back before it started before we found out that there was an hour delay! What crappy planning who ever was in charged of the target thing.
So all we had to do was hold up these Japanese style flags and I thought it was something in Japanese that was cool…. but nope. All it was was target logos! That’s so gay!
And on top of that, they made us take off our bags that were keeping us warm!
Sigh… the winds were really strong too! I kept fixing people’s flag as we were walking because mine was the only one with out problems! After the parade, we took a bus to go back to camp to change. I’m so glad we took that umbrella on the bus, otherwise it would of sucked even more. So the changing room was this dirty looking tent with people inside. She also said that we had to give back the cool track pants too. I was like screw this and tried to go into a building with Kev, Jeremy and Dave. We found this post office and changed in the phone booths and kept everything. The whole day was cold and rainy.
We went into the museum for a while to warm up and when we were ready to go, we had problems with people not wanting to meet up. Holy shit was I pissed alone with everybody else. But yea, Kev is a really really good friend to go through all that crap to just hang out with you. I don’t think he would have done it for anybody else.
Anyway, after that we went to go look around the festival for a little bit and stayed at Barnes and Noble for hours! I hated that so much!
After that we went out for a little and then headed for the bus.
I was amazed how great Kev was for a leader. Everybody would look to him to see what we were up to next; kind of sucked for me though. |

Friday was kevin's birthday!
We all went to the Corner Room for his dinner.
After that I made some drinks by at his room for everybody in a rice cooker pot :)
After getting a little tipsy, we armed wrestled and I won except when I tried against Kev.
Ok, Kevin is really strong, he even beat ryan who has a longer arm and weight lifts almost everyday!
Well later that night we went to go play pool in the Corner Pocket and I did pretty well for myself being drunk and all.
For some reason I chalked Margo and she did it back to me and by the end of the night I had chalk all over me!

I don't know why they were laughing, it wasn't like I put my finger in Beth's ear right before it was taken and smiling about it.
I also like this since we always hang out together!
awwww.... I'm gonna miss our group after this semester
I feel like we're family and that I'm the oldest brother because I watch after them all the time.
Kev would probably be in the middle because, he watches after beth and he's reserved.
Beth is the youngest, she's not as responsible as Kev but cute like little sister at times.
Oh, I'm going back to berks for a semester and comming back up in spring for graduation.
Just trying to save cost where I can,
cause I'm in business and that's how I roll : ) |

i went to the supply chain info. session cause i had to. after all of the speakers talked about what they did in supply chain, they had this game where you shook hands with the speakers and if you're the 3 person to shake hands with a particular speaker you win $10.
all of the students left the meeting when it was over and didn't shake hands with them, so i just started talking to them and the second person i talked to had the money. so i won $10 which i used to take my honey out to lunch :)
but anyway, so i was talking to this lady about international sourcing and all of a sudden i found myself talking to 4 other people at the same time and with my teacher there listening to me too.
i thought it was funny when one of the ladies said i had a very nice handshake.
this past friday i went to a party at justin's aprt. i had fun for a little, i was mixing drinks the whole night! i made drinks for everybody at the party! i had 4 different kinds of drinks, one was my special, the pine apple, and one was a margarita mix, the other one was margarita mix with milk which tasted really good, and the last was a special mix for kev.
afterwards we went tubing or "Tubbing" at tussy. i thought it would be fun to go with some of my friends to do something other than the usually boring stuff.
it was really fun going down really fast and in groups. You would not believe how much more fun it was if you're drunk!!!
i couldn't stand up that well and i didn't even care what i said when one of the girls tried to cut in line!
this girl tried to cut in line with her friends and she just fell on her head!!!
i just pointed and laughed really hard and was like "HAHA, YOU FELL ON YOUR HEAD!!!"
then kev kicked her tub away when she wasn't looking.
i was surprised how many people i knew that were there!
it was a shit load of fun and all for a $1!
all and all it was a great night for me till we got back.
saturday night i went to go watch a movie at chambers with some people, they were showing asian horror films. my friend kumnit and ryan came along which was fun. while waiting for kumnit, ryan and i wrote YO in the snow at chambers. it was big! we would run and slid to write it!
the movies were....... idk.
i'm not into those kinds of movies and i was really glad that ryan and kumnit came along too. i just talked to kumnit and we were both like, "what the hell is going on?!"
afterwards we went for tacos at taco bell.
i don't know why, but this past month i really really like eating tacos!
sigh.... i hope that the phase passes soon before i get fat :(
came back and yea.....
i don't even know what i did this time and i'm just tired of fighting all the time.
i've never fought with friends ever in my life!
i'm always so carefree and easy going that i don't get what's going on.
today i went to fight club mainly to watch. there were already done and gone before i got there, but there were some russian kids doing stuff off the wall. i tried to do some of the stuff that they did, but it was way to hard for me.
came back to my room and picked up the flowers and gave them....
now homework! |

soooo..... went to tokyo diner in lancaster yesterday for lunch. met up with kumnit and tree, i think that's how you spell his name. if you think tree is funny enough, his last name is palm.
sushi is so expansive!
paid $5 for 6 little rolls of some good salmon and something else.
and i still wasn't full. but i did find that eel is really good!
on the way out, we saw the one japanese guy bowing to one of the customer as she was leaving saying "thank you very much."
haha, that was so cool!
we didn't get that cause we were already leaving or they had something us???
after that we went to old navy where i needed to go look for a gift for neung, she's a girl in cambodia that we e-mailed back and forth. i called so many people that know her to give me her size and couldn't get a hold of anybody, but it turns out she's extra small or small. she's really skinny! well compared to me especially cause i'm fat.
i also got something for my cousin in cali.
later that night i got cranium, kids version, for chris's family cause i was giving chris a present and also his brother kyle. i didn't want to leave amanda and viccy not getting anything cause that would of been bad.
anyway tomorrow's the lan party at the high school and i need to clean out my comp. OMG they're so bad there!
my friends would look through my computer when i'm not there and pretend they didn't when i come back!
i remember like 2 summers ago i had a 3 day party at my house and like 5 of my friends were huddled up around my comp looking at my old pictures and files! |
